'Girlicious' Singer Arrested: Natalie Mejia Pleads Not Guilty to Cocaine Possession - KTLA: "singer in the pop group 'Girlicious' plead not guilty Thursday to a charge of cocaine possession with intent to sell.
Natalie Mejia, 21, of Diamond Bar, was arrested in Glendale on March 9th after a car she was riding in was stopped for speeding, Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.A Glendale officer said he found more than a dozen bags of cocaine inside her Gucci purse.Mejia spent the night in in jail after her arrest and was released in lieu of $30,000 bail. She appeared in Los Angeles courtroom and plead not guilty to the charge on Thursday. She says the drugs weren't hers and that she didn't know how they got there.The driver of the Mustang in which she was riding, Peter Asencio, 28, of Burbank, was charged for driving with a suspended license."
